ReplyDeleteI want recipes for a pressure cooker, recently I bought it but I do not know how to use it.
Thanks.
Hey there! I use an electric pressure cooker--and it is amazing! Basically, put whatever you want in it as long as you include 2 cups of liquid (think water, broth, etc). You don't even really have to modify your slow cooker recipes, you just don't have to cook 'em slow! Pop the stuff in the pressure cooker and dinner's in the table in 20 minutes tops! You can even have a pot roast in about 30-45 minutes, nice and tender. Congratulations on your purchase, I hope you enjoy yours as much as I love mine! PS Tons of pressure cooker cookbooks, there all about the same. If you just want to know the basics of cooking in a pressure cooker (how long to dried beans take, etc) just get one book and don't waste too much money on the rest. ;) I really like Lorna Sass, her books are very informational.
