I have to have ham on Christmas. I have to! And there are a few recipes that just go with ham so I have to have them too!
(the leftovers to be heated up and eaten again on New Year’s in this Southern tradition!)
(yeah, I know we had this on Thanksgiving too but it just goes SO WELL with ham!)
Since I can’t use the pan juices from this ham recipe for Greasy Rice, I buy 2 ham hocks and stew them down in 2 cups of water in a small crock pot the day before.
This would be my husband's menu for Christmas too. I love a good ham and all your sides. Except I would save the black eyed peas until New Year's Day (good luck you know!). I'd love it if you shared this with Tumbleweed Contessa at Holiday Best.

ReplyDeleteOMG!! These desserts are really luscious. Will have them in my party for sure. Last time in my tea party had taken few recipes from Nom Video Sharing. Awesome food cooking videos are there which are easy to cook. Everyone was happy with my great preparations.
